We had our trip for 5 nights in Singapore & 2 in Malaysia. The first part was really amazing, kids had lot of fun and we felt we needed 2 days each for Universal and Sentosa as there’s a lot to walk around and explore. Probably you could set aside some time for shopping.
The coord team/cb drivers all were excellent in supporting the journey throughout. We got timely updates/messages/calls > Telegram page.
We traveled to Malaysia in coach, that took almost a day and we shouldn’t have gone for it rather stayed another day in Singapore.
When you land Malaysia from Singapore, uh ho, the vibes arent same. Only at some specific places we felt the vacation mode. Otherwise the place, cab, people everything is different.
The coach driver didnt seem to be that friendly and not responsive, just nods or stares.
The location of our hotel in Malaysia wasnt good, and poor Internet. However the room was pretty and neat, but services na-na, there was no bathroom slippers or dental kits.
Communication in this country is a bit difficult too, had a tough time in getting info while roaming around.
Vegans should pack ready to eat meals, food options were very very difficult as they cook most of the meals in seafood paste - the flavours/aroma are something we weren’t used to. But definitely try their Kaya (coconut) jam & kempung rice.
I am not that happy with the telegram page updates and coordination in malaysia as compared to Singapore. Our return flight was at 3pm, our hotel was far from airport and still our airport pick up schedule was not in sync with the international check-in. We were frustrated at this and hardly got any timely response. But the driver surprised us by arriving at an earlier time, please ensure you communicate effectively at such crucial points.
Other than this just one context I appreciate the team in customising the trip according to places of our choice, explaining everything in detail and be available anytime we wanted to reach out.
Definitely looking forward to other trips in future.
