- Welcome to the beautiful island of Sri Lanka! Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our local representative and begin your scenic journey towards Kandy, the cultural capital of Sri Lanka. En route, you may choose to visit the renowned Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage (optional), home to rescued Asian elephants. Upon reaching Kandy, visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic, one of the most revered Buddhist pilgrimage sites in the world, followed by a visit to the lush Peradeniya Royal Botanical Garden and the fascinating Gem Museum, where you can learn about Sri Lanka's world-famous gemstones. Day 2: Sigiriya Rock Fortress & Dambulla Cave Temple Excursion
