Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 1: Arrival In Cairo
- A warm welcome awaits you as you arrive at Cairo International Airport, where our representative assists you smoothly through immigration. From there, an air-conditioned coach takes you through Old Cairo, offering panoramic views of the Citadel and the towering Mohamed Ali Mosque, passing by the Sultan Hassan and El Refaie Mosques along the way. On arrival at the hotel, check-in is arranged for you, with free time to relax and freshen up.
- Enjoy dinner at an oriental restaurant, followed by an optional visit to the Sound and Light Show by the Pyramids (at additional cost). Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Cairo.

Day 2: Guided Tour Of Alexandria
- After an early morning breakfast at the hotel, head out along the desert road to Alexandria for a full day guided tour of Egypt's most enchanting coastal city. The tour starts at Pompey's Pillar, a towering monument carved from Aswan pink granite, erected in honour of Emperor Diocletian. Nearby lies the entrance to the Kom El-Shuqafa Catacombs (entrance on a direct payment basis), dating back to the first and second centuries. These fascinating underground tombs combine Egyptian, Greek, and Roman artistic styles and were uncovered quite by chance in the early 20th century.
- Move on to the Bibliotheca Alexandrina (entrance on a direct payment basis), the New Library of Alexandria, built to revive the openness and scholarly spirit tied to the ancient original. More than just a library, it houses 13 distinct departments and supports a growing number of institutions, steadily becoming a hub connecting networks across the region and beyond.
- Head to Qaitbay Fort, which has watched over the bay for centuries; standing at the end of the Corniche, its crenelated walls belong to a Mameluk fortress built in 1480 on the site of the former Alexandria lighthouse. Lunch follows at a local restaurant. Afterward, head to the Montazah Gardens, a 150-hectare park surrounding the palace of Khedive Abbas, whose striking architecture feels almost fairy tale-like, where visitors can wander through the gardens or unwind on the nearby sandy beaches. The day wraps up with a drive back to Cairo for an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3: Guided Tour Of Great Pyramids And Sphinx Of Giza With Grand Egyptian Museum
- After an early breakfast at the hotel, set off on a full day guided tour to uncover one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Pyramids of Giza. Cheops, Chephren, and Mycerinus showcase remarkable ancient engineering, each built with 2,300,000 blocks weighing an average of two and a half tonnes, a scale that continues to inspire wonder even today. The Cheops Pyramid holds special interest, as its interior burial chambers are open for public viewing.
- A short distance away lies the Great Sphinx of Giza, dating back to Chephren's time around 2620 BC. Carved from yellowish limestone and rising 65 feet, it combines the face of a Pharaoh with the body of a lion. Before heading back, if time permits, there's an opportunity to visit a papyrus institute or a perfume shop. The tour of Pyramids conclude with a drive back to the hotel to freshen up.
- Lunch can be served at an oriental restaurant, followed by a drive to the Grand Egyptian Museum for another unforgettable tour. Step into the world of ancient Egypt at the Grand Egyptian Museum, home to some of the era's most valuable treasures. One of your first experiences is passing through the atrium, taking in the giant Ramses II statue, before walking up the Grand Staircase. From the staircase, you enter the exhibition halls, arranged both chronologically and by theme, featuring multimedia and immersive displays beyond static viewing. Your tour offers a look at the museum's most impressive artifacts, including statues, royal regalia, and ancient monuments, with your guide sharing insights along the way.
- Through the windows, enjoy a direct view of the Pyramids, connecting the museum experience with the landscape outside. Visit all major galleries, including the Tutankhamun exhibit, and take in the Solar Boats of King Cheops, before driving back to the hotel for an overnight stay in Cairo.

Day 4: Fly From Cairo To Aswan – Transfer To Nile Cruise And Overnight Onboard Cruise
- Wake up early and check out of the hotel, with tea and coffee served before you depart, along with a breakfast box to take with you. Drive to Cairo airport for a flight of about 70 minutes to Aswan, the southern gate of Egypt. On arrival, you'll be met and assisted at Aswan airport, one of the world's best-known winter resorts. A guided tour follows, taking you past the Old Dam and on to the High Dam, which supplies irrigation and electricity across Egypt. From there, a motor boat ride carries you to the beautiful Temple of Philae on Isis Island, before transferring to your Nile Cruise for check-in.
- Lunch is served onboard the cruise, followed by a relaxed afternoon sailing by felucca around the Elephantine and Botanical Islands, taking in views of the Agha Khan Mausoleum along the way. Return to the cruise for dinner and an overnight stay onboard.
- For those wishing to extend their Aswan experience, an optional tour to Abu Simbel can be arranged either by air or by land (at additional cost). Travelling by air takes you to Abu Simbel via Aswan and back, allowing Aswan sightseeing to be completed either that same afternoon or the following morning. Alternatively, travelling by land can be arranged for an early start the following morning.

Day 5: Sail To Kom Ombo With Visti Ptolemaic Temple And Overnight Onboard Cruise – Optional Visit To Temple Of Abu Simbel
- A very early wake-up call starts the day, with a breakfast box ready ahead of an optional excursion by coach to the great Temples of Abu Simbel, flanked by four giant statues of Ramses II. The temple was rescued from the rising waters of Lake Nasser and reconstructed at its present site.
- On returning from Abu Simbel, sail onward to Kom Ombo to visit the Ptolemaic Temple, uniquely shared by two gods, Sobek and Heroeris. From here, sail on to Edfu, where the cruise continues with an overnight stay onboard.

Day 6: Visit Temple Of Horus With Karnak And Luxor Temple – Overnight Onboard Cruise
- After breakfast on board, transfer by Kalesh, the traditional horse-drawn carriage, to visit the Temple of Horus, one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt. Once the visit concludes, return to the Nile Cruise and set sail towards Esna and onward to Luxor.
- Upon arrival in Luxor, visit the Karnak Temple, a vast complex of halls, pillars, and ancient carvings built over centuries. Afterward, take in a view of the Luxor Temple from outside, often described as an open-air museum for the way its monuments sit right within the city itself. Return back to the cruise for your overnight onboard stay.

Day 7: Explore Valley Of The Kings With Hatshepsut Temple – Departure From Luxor
- After an early breakfast, check out of the cruise and head to the West Bank in Luxor for a visit to the Valley of the Kings, resting place of Egypt's ancient pharaohs, followed by the striking Hatshepsut Temple and the towering Colossi of Memnon.
- Drive back to the Nile Cruise to collect your luggage, then transfer to Luxor airport for your international flight. As your journey through Egypt comes to an end, we hope you carry back cherished memories of its timeless wonders. Wishing you a safe and pleasant journey ahead.

If a guest is detained or deported for carrying prohibited items, all tour fees remain strictly non-refundable, and any return travel expenses must be paid entirely by the traveller.
- Drones & Aerial Cameras: Strictly illegal for tourists; will be confiscated immediately at the airport and can lead to arrest.
- Medicines containing Codeine, Tramadol or Methadone: Heavy pain relievers or cough syrups containing these ingredients are classified as illegal drugs in Egypt.
- Guests are permitted to bring personal prescription medications (diabetes, blood pressure, etc.), travellers must carry a physical, signed, and stamped doctor's prescription clearly matching the guest's passport name. All medicines must remain inside their original, clearly labelled pharmaceutical packaging. Lose pills in unlabelled organizers are subject to immediate seizure.
- Satellite Equipment: Walkie-talkies, high-end radio transmitters, or satellite GPS messaging devices (like Garmin InReach) are not allowed in Egypt.
- The import of counterfeit currency is strictly illegal, and guests must not carry replica antiquities or souvenirs that could be mistaken for authentic Egyptian historical artifacts by airport customs officials.
- The import of pornographic materials, including explicit printed media, videos, or any items that violate local cultural and decency laws, is strictly prohibited.
- Travelers are legally restricted from entering or leaving Egypt with more than 5,000 Egyptian Pounds (EGP) in cash, and any foreign currency exceeding $10,000 USD (or its equivalent) must be formally declared to customs authorities upon arrival.
- While standard tourist smartphones, DSLR cameras, and GoPros are acceptable for personal use, utilizing large, professional-grade broadcast or cinema equipment requires prior official permits from the Egyptian government.

- Any emergency return travel expenses, deportation flights, legal fines, or administrative fees must be paid entirely by the traveller.
- Must carry the original passport with validity for at least 6 months beyond the arrival date and have a minimum of 2 blank pages along with printed physical copy of the approved Egypt eVisa
- Carry hard copy of the full round-trip flight itinerary proving you are returning to India or transiting onward.
- Carry at least 2 recent, coloured passport photos with a white background (60% face visibility) just in case local authorities request them.
- Travelers are strongly advised to procure comprehensive international travel insurance covering emergency medical evacuation, hospitalization, and trip interruption. If a guest must drop out of the tour due to a medical emergency, hospital admission, or illness, all remaining segments of the tour are non-refundable, and all medical or repatriation bills must be paid entirely by the traveller.
- US Dollars are highly preferred for cash transactions and tipping. However, local banks and exchange houses will reject banknotes that are torn, heavily creased, stamped, written on, or minted prior to 2013. Guests must inspect all USD currency notes before departing India.
- If travellers intend to exchange US Dollars (USD) for local currency in Egypt, they must carry crisp, uncreased, unsoiled banknotes issued post-2013. Egyptian banks and currency exchanges routinely reject older series, torn, stamped, or heavily folded currency bills. The tour operator is not responsible for a traveller's inability to transact or exchange money due to poor banknote quality.
